i’m writing this on tuesday evening, as we wallow in the Debacle of Iowa, the Meaninglessness of Truth and Accountability, and Toxicity the of the state of union address, which i will do my best to avoid. my head is spinning from it all. and really, i feel like i just… cant.
i often start writing these monthly missives with no idea what’s on my mind, and it becomes clear as i type. a clarifying exercise that generally ends on a positive note. writing as restoration. writing as return. writing to recovery. not so this month. i’m just a big old mix of anxiety, stress, and a healthy dose of the fuck-its.
so that’s it. this is all i can offer today. my pop culture recommendations have brought me much joy this month. and scroll below for some nice opportunities to join me in rooms around the country. at least there’s that.
