The Cabin Fever recording of "Islands in the Stream" is the version of the song that made me truly appreciate it for what it is, and want to go back and hear the original recording. I've played it for friends, I've included it on radio shows featuring my favorite cover songs, and I've thought about it often over the past week since I heard the news. It even inspired me when I sang a karaoke version with my girlfriend last year.
